Write-up: Information has been received from a health care professional concerning a 7 day old female pt, who on 2/28/2000, was vaccinated with the first dose of Hepatitis-B vaccine recombinant (yeast). On 3/3/2000, the child expired. The cause of death was unknown. The medical examiner did determine that no congenital anomaly was determined. Follow-up information received from a registered nurse indicated that the suspected cause was sudden infant death syndrome, although the final autopsy results were not available, there were no gross anatomical abnormalities.
