Write-up: Patient developed Gilliam Barre after administration of the second dose of Covid vaccine on 2/15/21; After multiple calls, clinic was where patient received vaccine with LOT #EN6200 (expiration date unavailable in computer system per pharmacist); pt then went to a hospital and was diagnosed as above; treated in the ED for several days per notes at the hospital and was not put in a room due to bed shortages so was transferred to another hospital; patient subsequently developed an NSTEMI, seizures, and was intubated.

Write-up: Received the shot 1.29.21 and on 2.13.21 noticed something was wrong and by 2.15.21 my arms and left leg had no strength. My left leg would not hold me up. Went to the ER.

Write-up: Patient started to feel weakness and felt "funny" approximately 1 hour after injection. Patient reported in addition to feelings of soreness, tiredness, and achiness, general weakness. A little over 48 hours later, patient presented to the ED with tingling and numbness. 72 hours later, patient admitted to the hospital with more tingling and numbness including arms, legs, hands, fingers, and face. Non-stop chin trembling occurred. Patient had MRI and spinal tap done with normal results. Neurology treating as Guillain Barre Syndrome due to symptoms. Patient''s heart rate was elevated. Immunoglobulin therapy started approximately 96 hours after injection received. Heart rate returned to normal with first therapy treatment. Neurology saw progression of symptoms stopped with the therapy.

Write-up: Guillain Barre Syndrome; POTS; Syncope; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable other hcp. A 43-years-old female patient received first dose of bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, Solution for injection), via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Left on 23Dec2020 07:30 (Batch/Lot Number: EH9899) as SINGLE DOSE for covid-19 immunisation. Medical history included Known allergies as wine. Concomitant medication included loratadine (CLARITIN [LORATADINE]) 10 mg, as needed, daily for unspecified indication. On 23Dec2020 07:45 patient experienced Paresthesia tip of RIGHT little finger within 10 minutes of vaccine. Tachy arrhythmia, loss of function in RIGHT little finger/hand, and syncope 45 minutes after vaccine while driving. Tachycardia, hypertension, generalized weakness, and severe fatigue walking upstairs (persistent and worsened over several days). Loss of function/sensation RIGHT arm and RIGHT leg 8 days after vaccination. Symptoms persisted and worsened. Diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome and POTS at follow up on 19Jan2021. She still have persistent weakness/paresthesias/neuropathy. The patient underwent lab tests and procedures which included sars-cov-2 test: negative on 31Dec2020. Seriousness criteria for all events was hospitalization.The events Guillan Barre syndrome and syncope were medically significant. Outcome of the event Guillain Barre Syndrome was recovering. Outcome of the other events was unknown.

Write-up: Beginning on 3/19 he developed a progressive ascending numbness first in his toes, then progressing to include bilateral legs up to knees and bilateral arms up to mid forearm. He also had mild leg weakness bilaterally. He has absent reflexes. His lumbar puncture showed albuminocytologic dissociation. He was diagnosed with Guillan-Barre syndrome and is being treated with IVIG.

Write-up: I had a Covid vaccine from my job on 3/4/2021. I started feeling symptoms 2 days after my vaccination and everyday I am experiencing new symptoms. I was in the ER one week after the vaccine with numnes on the entire left side of my body, when I was admitted to the hospital I had many tests done, I tested positive for Covid , i had MRIs , everyday I would lose feeling in different parts of my body. After staying in the hospital 5 days I was diagnosed with GBS and sent home. Three days after I came home I had new symptoms I couldn?t walk my legs w re paralyzed. I had to go back to the hospital. I stayed in the hospital 5 days.I was diagnosed one more time with Post-Vaccination Guillain-Barr? Syndrome (GBS) .My symptoms are still coming back to my spine and head. I am not able to keep my head up for long. They did all the test again and the neurologists confirmed one more time that I have GBS syndrome after receiving the vaccine.
