Write-up: Information as received from the authors in published literature article refers to a 44 years old female patient enrolled in a qualitative study. The patient was healthy and had no children. The patient''s medical history included stress symptoms. The aim of the study was to investigate HPV vaccinated women''s experiences with side effects caused by the HPV vaccine. Qualitative interviews were conducted with eight women, aged 25-44 years, who experience side effects from vaccination against HPV. They were included in the study if aged 18 years or above and if they had receive their HPV vaccination within the past three years. Adult women were chosen as a target group as they were believed to be more contemplative and reflective than young girls. On an unknown date, the patient received the first dose of GARDASIL (lot number, expiration date, dose and route were not reported), because she had fear of cancer and she trusted in her physician. The fear of cancer was based on the women''s own risk perception, which could be influenced by their family history of cancer and on an unspecified date in 2012 she received the second dose of GARDASIL (lot number, expiration date, dose and route were not reported). On unknown date, the patient experienced an unspecified side effect from the vaccination with GARDASIL. The time of the side effects was after the first injection and aggravated after the next injection (on an unspecified date in 2012). The patient did not get the last injection, due the side effects she experienced. The authors considered the adverse event was related to GARDASIL. This is one of several cases received from the same literature article (linked to cases MARRS 1612DNK004981, 1612DNK004588, 1612DNK004996, 1612DNK004841, 1612DNK004650, 1612DNK004656, 1612DNK004576). Follow up information was received from the author of the article on 19-JAN-2017: On an unspecified date in 2012, the patient experienced heart palpitations, fatigue, abdominal pain (bloated), dizziness and muscle weakness in legs; according to the reporting physician, these symptoms worsened on an unspecified date. At the reporting time, the patient had not recovered from the heart palpitations, fatigue, abdominal pain (bloated), dizziness and muscle weakness in legs. The physician assessed the reported events as serious since led to a "longer or permanent unfitness to work" and "disability". Additional information is not expected since the author does not have any additional information about the events.; Sender''s Comments: DK-009507513-1612DNK004981: DK-009507513-1612DNK004588: DK-009507513-1612DNK004996: DK-009507513-1612DNK004841: DK-009507513-1612DNK004650: DK-009507513-1612DNK004656: DK-009507513-1612DNK004576:
