Write-up: Information has been received from SPMSD (manufacturer control # IE-1577272925-2016008054) on 10-AUG-2016. This case was received from agency (Ref No. IE-HPRA-2016-027364) on 05-Aug-2016. Initial case received from a consumer/other non-health professional which concerns a 13-year-old female adolescent patient received GARDASIL (batch number unknown) on 18-Sep-2015. Medical history/concurrent conditions: None. Concomitant medications: None. The patient experienced nauseas, dizziness, sharp pains in head, rapid heartbeat and weight loss (over 2 stone sine Jan/2016) on an unknown date. The patent was admitted to hospital on an unspecified date. The patient''s outcome was reported Not Recovered/Not resolved. Corrective treatment: Anti-nausea mediation, antacids and painkillers. The reporter indicated that none of these helped. The reporter assessed the causal relationship: between nausea, dizziness, pain head, heart rate high, loss of weight and GARDASIL as Unknown. The case is considered to be serious as hospitalization, disability and medically significant.
