Write-up: Information has been received from Sanofi Pasteur MSD (MFR control number GB-1577272925-2016002950) on 01-APR-2016. This case was received from RA (Ref. No. GB-MHRA-EYC 00136993, GB-MHRA-ADR 23400581) on 29-MAR-2016. Initial case received from a consumer/other non-health professional concerns a 12-year-old female adolescent patient (Weight-52.61kg) who received GARDASIL (lot number K006975) via parenteral route on an unknown date. The patient''s medical includes MMR vaccine and the patient''s mother had a polio, typhoid and tetanus booster while pregnant with patient, before realised pregnant- about 3 weeks gestation. The patient experienced nausea, chronic fatigue, dizziness, eye pain, light sensitivity and headache on 17-OCT-2015. This started one week after the vaccination. She has a constant headache in her temples and around her eyes. The nausea and dizziness have subsided but she is still chronically tired and left with pain and a headache which have not gone since starting 5 months ago. The reporter thinks the general administration of the vaccine should be looked at. My daughter struggles day to day and it is effecting her education and enjoyment of life. The patient''s outcome for the events nausea and dizziness was reported as recovered/resolved. The patient''s outcome for the events of chronic fatigue, eye pain, light sensitivity and headache was reported as not recovered / not resolved. The patient''s outcome was reported as Not Recovered/Not Resolved.
