Write-up: Initial information has been received from Sanofi Pasteur MSD [Manufacturer Control Number GB-1577272925-E2014-08168] on 11-SEP-2014. This case was received from the health authority on 08-Sep-2014. Ref GB-MHRA-ADR 22671049. This case is not medically confirmed, as it was reported from a consumer. A 13 year old female patient, with a medical history of being a wheelchair user, received an injection of GARDASIL, lot not reported, series, route and site not reported, on 19-Jul-2011. Following vaccination the patient developed complex regional pain syndrome. The patient''s parent believes it might be linked to the HPV vaccine. At the time of reporting the patient AE were reported as recovering. The reporter considered the events to be serious due to Disability/incapacity and Hospitalised due to reaction.
