Write-up:Case received from a health care professional via the Health Authorities on 11-Nov-2013 under the references DK-DKMA-ADR 22308107 and DK-DKMA-EFO7433. Case is medically confirmed. A 12-year-old female patient (weight, height not reported) had received the second dose of GARDASIL (batch number J006698) via intramuscular route into the right upper arm on 30-Oct-2013. On the same day, within hours after the injection, the patient developed paresis in the right arm distal to the vaccination site and extending along the right arm''s length out to all fingers. No examinations or laboratory tests were performed. There were no other vaccines or medicines. At the time of reporting, the patient had not recovered. D1 of GARDASIL was given on 30-Jul-2013, toleration was not reported. The Health Authorities considered the events as disabling.
