Write-up: Information has been received from a hospice nurse concerning a 16 years old female with unknown drug allergies and unknown medical history who was vaccinated with the first dose of GARDASIL. Subsequently the patient was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) shortly after receiving the first dose of GARDASIL. The nurse learned of the patient''s experience when her family called seeking hospice care for her. The family did mention that the first dose of GARDASIL caused that to the patient. Unspecified medical attention was sought. It was unspecified if laboratory studies were performed. At the time of the report, the patient had not recovered. The Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis was considered to be disabling. In follow-up with the representative, it was learned that no contact information is available. No further information is available.
