Write-up: Information has been received from a Doctor of Pharmacy concerning his 17 year old daughter who on 25-APR-2007 was vaccinated with 0.5 mL second dose of Gardasil. There was no concomitant medication. Shortly after administration of the dose, the patient experienced swelling and pain at the injection site. The swelling had gone down, but there was still a nodule present at the injection site that was painful when pressure was applied to it. No form of treatment was used to help with the symptoms. At the time of this report, the patient was recovering. Additional information has been requested.
