Write-up: Information has been received from a registered nurse concerning a female (age not reported) who on 27-MAR-2007 was vaccinated intramuscularly with a 0.5 mL dose of Gardasil. On 29-MAR-2007 (2 days after vaccination) the patient developed hives on her chest, back and upper extremities. The patient sought unspecified medical attention. The registered nurse reported that the patient had used a tanning bed earlier on the same day as the reaction. On an unspecified date, the patient recovered. There was no product quality complaint involved. No further information is available.
