Write-up: Information has been received from a physician''s assistant concerning a 13 year old female with seasonal allergy who in March 2007, was vaccinated IM with the first 0.5 mL dose of Gardasil. The physician''s assistant reported that within 21 days of vaccination the patient developed bilateral axillary lymph node swelling. Multiple nodes were noted bilaterally. The patient was treated with Zithromax for three days. Unspecified laboratory tests were obtained; all reported as normal. The patient recovered within 1-2 weeks of Zithromax therapy. It was reported that the opposite side of vaccination resolved first, "in several days," then the side of vaccination resolved. Additional information has been requested.
