Initial and follow up information has been received from a pharmacist, concerning an 18 year old female, who on 05-DEC-2006 was vaccinated with the first dose of GARDASIL. The pharmacist reported that the patient has experienced monoucleosis (date unspecified). At the time of this report, the patient had fully recovered (date not specified). Follow up information from the pharmacist orginally noted that he "did not think there was any connection" between the vaccination with GARDASIL and the mononuecleosis, however, additional follow up information added that it was "not known if illness was due to injection or not". On 12-APR-2007, after the patient had fully recovered, she received the second dose of GARDASIL. There were no problems reported following the second dose. The patient sought unspecified medical attention. No further information was expected.
