Write-up: Information has been received from a pharmacist concerning a 12 year old female with no pertinent medical history who in approximately January 2007, was vaccinated with a first dose of Gardasil. There was no concomitant medication. Subsequently the patient developed a lump at the injection site. It was reported that the lump at the injection site "recently" became painful. Unspecified medical attention was sought. There were no laboratory or diagnostic tests performed. At the time of the report, the lump and pain at the injection site persisted. Additional information has been requested.
