Write-up: ON 2/22/07 PATIENT STARTED WITH TINGLY,ITCHY AREA ON BACK THAT BECAME A RAISED ,RED RASH ON BACK. IT IS MOSTLY ON ONE SIDE MORE THAN THE OTHER AND IS VERY PAINFUL AND CAUSES HER LEFT SIDE TO BE TINGLY. SHE WENT TO THE WALK-IN BECAUSE IT WAS THE WEEKEND AND THEY DIAGNOSED HER WITH SHINGLES. SHE WAS STARTED ON A COURSE OF VALTREX TO TAKE TID FOR ONE WEEK. SHE IS FOLLOWING UP WITH HER PRIMARY CAE M.D. WHO IS POSSIBLY TO DO LAB WORK.
