Write-up: Information has been received from a physician concerning a 12 year old female who on an unspecified date was vaccinated intramuscularly with the first dose of Gardasil vaccine (yeast) (lot# not provided). Concomitant therapy included Strattera and Concerta. Subsequently, the patient presented to the reporting physicians office for her second dose of Gardasil vaccine (yeast) and the patient''s mother reported that the patient had been diagnosed with "acute immune hepatitis". The physician reported that the patient was asymptomatic, looked fine and was not sick. The physician did not give the second dose of the vaccine at that time based on the report from the mother. The physician reported that she is watching the patient''s liver function tests which have progressively risen to 70. The reporting physician felt that the auto immune hepatitis was not related to therapy with Gardasil vaccine (yeast). Additional information has been requested.
