Life Threatening? No Write-up: Information has been received from a female physician assistant (age not reported) who on an unspecified date was vaccinated with 1 dose of 0.5 ML of Gardasil (yeast) (Lot#653978/0955F). The physician assistant reported that after she was injected with Gardasil (yeast) she felt numbness from the injection site progress all the way to her fingers. Unspecified medical attention was sought. At the time of this report, the physician assistant had recovered from the event (date unknown). Additional information has been requested. This is in follow-up to report (s) previously submitted on 12/14/2006. Initial and follow-up information has been received from a white, 26 year old female, physician assistant whose reported weight was 130 pounds and whose reported height was 67 inches, with no pre-existing allergies or illness who on 01-NOV-2006 was vaccinated intramuscularly (IM) into the left deltoid muscle with the first dose of 0.5 mL dose of GADASIL (Lot # 653978/0955F). The physician assistant reported she felt numbness and tingling down through her left arm and into her hand as GARDASIL vaccine was administered. It was reported that there were no long term effects, all signs and symptoms resolved in a few minutes. Unspecified medical attention was sought.
