Write-up:Information has been received from a registered nurse concerning a female between the ages of 14 to 21 years old who was vaccinated IM into the deltoid region with a first 0.5 ml dose of HPV rL1 6 11 16 18 VLP vaccine (yeast). Subsequently, the patient ex"perienced extreme pain during injection. No medical attention was sought. About 15 to 20 minutes after injection, the patient was improving. No product quality complaint was involved. Additional information has been requested.
