Write-up: Information has been received from a health professional concerning an 18 year old female patient with no past medical history who on 06-FEB-2007 was vaccinated with a first dose of Gardasil (dosage not provided). There was no concomitant medication. On 14-FEB-2007 the patient developed bizarre philosophical outlook and claimed to hear the voice of a good entity called "it" which could "redress unbalance in her family." She also described the Gardasil as poison coursing through her body. The patient was seen by the reporter who described her behavior as overtly sexual by throwing herself back in the chair with her legs wide open. The reporter stated it was a major psychiatric breakdown and her parents were unable to cope with her at home. The patient was sectioned to be admitted to the hospital. The patient had not recovered as of 23-FEB-2007. Other business partner numbers included E2007-01291. Additional information has been requested.

Write-up: Information has been received from a Health Authority agency concerning a 17 year old female with no reported medical history who on 20-SEP-2007 was vaccinated with her first dose of Gardasil (Lot #654948/0903F; Batch #NE35170) intramuscularly into the left upper arm. On 10-JAN-2008 the patient was vaccinated with her second dose of Gardasil (Lot #0276U; Batch #NF58550) intramuscularly into the left upper arm. There was no concomitant medication. In approximately October 2007 (no exact onset date reported), the patient felt unwell and complained of vertigo and nausea. She developed increasing "distinctive psychic features". She additionally had developed an injection site reaction. Unspecified laboratory tests included an electrocardiogram (ECG) and a urinalysis (date unspecified). No results were reported. No aggravation of symptoms was reported with the second dose of Gardasil. General symptoms were ongoing at the time of reporting. The patient recovered from the injection site reaction. Psychic disturbance, vertigo, feeling unwell, nausea and injection site reaction were considered to be an other important medical event. Other business partner numbers include E200801543. Write-up: Information was received from a lawyer regarding a case in litigation regarding an 11 year old female with history of a twisted and necrotic ovary with surgery (January 2011). It was reported that the patient followed her physician''s advice and on 30-MAR-2011 was vaccinated with her first dose of GARDASIL, (Lot number 667866/1437Z, expiration 25-FEB-2013). On 08-AUG-2011, the patient was vaccinated with her second dose of GARDASIL, (Lot number 667194/1271Z expiration 11-DEC-2012). On 12-DEC-2011, the patient was vaccinated with her third dose of GARDASIL, (Lot number 670049/1261AA, expiration 11-NOV-2013). It was reported that on 30-MAR-2011, almost immediately after the first injection, the patient began to experience stomach pain, bloating, feeling full, nauseated and bladder infection-like symptoms. After the completion of the three vaccinations, the symptoms worsened, and she began to suffer additional symptoms of insomnia, night sweats, day sweats, and chills. On an unknown date, she developed headaches, fatigue, fever, light sensitivity, blurred vision, personality changes, back pain itchiness, dizziness, chest pains and racing heart, spasms in her limbs, tingling and numbness in the hand and feet, confusion, and other mental abnormalities, all of which were reported to be caused by GARDASIL. The patient was told for over three years by her physician that her symptoms she experienced were post-operative symptoms. The patient''s symptoms worsened and medical advice from another physician on 20-NOV-2014, reported that the patient "is vaccine injured". The patient''s mother found medical literature regarding a finding of contamination of GARDASIL in nine different countries, and unfortunately, one of the listed GARDASIL contaminated lots was GARDASIL Lot # 1437Z, which is the lot number of the patient''s first injection of GARDASIL on 30-MAR-2011. The patient''s conditions were reported directly and proximately caused by the GARDASIL and are permanent. The conditions the patient has experienced has continued for over five years and are presumed to be permanent. Stomach pain, bloating/feeling full, nauseated and bladder infection-like symptoms, insomnia, night sweats, day sweats, chills, headaches, fatigue, fever, light sensitivity, blurred vision, personality changes, back pain itchiness, dizziness, chest pain and racing heart, spasms in her limbs, tingling and numbness in the hand and feet, confusion, and other mental abnormalities are considered disabling. Upon internal review, mental abnormalities was determined to be important medical event. Additional information has been requested.

Write-up: This spontaneous social media report was received from an article published in newspaper and refers to a 12-year-old female patient. There was no information about the patient''s concurrent conditions, concomitant therapies or medical history provided. On an unknown date (reported as in September), the patient was vaccinated at school with a dose of GARDASIL (dose, route of administration and lot number were not provided) for prophylaxis. Next day, her legs felt heavy and she had a burning sensation in her spine. The straight student went on to lose all sensation in her legs, body and arms. On an unknown date, the patient found herself unable to move and just weeks later she was paralyzed from the neck down and in the hospital. The patient''s family claimed she had suffered an alleged reaction to the HPV vaccine. However, her doctors claimed that her problem was completely psychological and the only help they offered was to section the patient. The patient''s health deteriorated rapidly. At the time of the reporting, she shuffled before lying in her adapted bed at home, unable to move. The outcome of the events was unknown. The relatedness between vaccination with GARDASIL and the events was not reported. Upon internal review, the event of paralysis was considered to be medically significant. This is one of two reports received from the same source, as no contact details were provided. Additional information is not expected. Sender''s Comments: US-009507513-1704USA006347.

Write-up: Shortly after receiving the 3rd dose of GARDASIL 4, my son developed allergy like symptoms in the sinuses. Sinusitis developed in September, which was incurable no matter what we tried (CLARITIN, Nasal Wash, BENADRYL). BENADRYL). By October patient experienced his first bout with high fevers and enlarged lymph nodes in the neck (cervical), accompanied by terrible sore throat, neck pain at the base of the head and lower back pain. This lasted for 4 days - 104 days-104 degree fever, chills, exhaustion, loss of sharp thinking. He stated he felt like his head was going to explode and he said he felt as if he wasn''t as smart. This pattern of sickness came again - 6 weeks to the day in November, in December, and every 6 week weeks now for a year. We removed his tonsils, biopsied them no cure. We have tried prescription allergy medicine, homeopathic aids- such as arm and hammer wash, but he is still getting symptoms every six weeks to the day.
