Write-up: This case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of injection site cellulitis in a 19-year-old female patient who received BEXSERO (batch number 151301C, expiry date 31st December 2016). On 28th April 2016, the patient received BEXSERO. In May 2016, less than a week after receiving BEXSERO, the patient experienced injection site cellulitis. On an unknown date, the outcome of the injection site cellulitis was unknown. It was unknown if the reporter considered the injection site cellulitis to be related to BEXSERO. Additional details were provided as follows: The patient received BEXSERO on the right deltoid. On 4th May 2016, the patient was seen by her physician for cellulitis at the injection site, which developed one to two days prior to the visit.

Write-up: Approximately 45 minutes after receiving vaccines pt started with muscle tightness in his neck and shoulders then a severe headache with light sensitivity and vomiting, then the chills, and a slight fever (max temp 100.1 orally). Symptoms lasted 12 hrs.

Concomitant products included Hepatitis A vaccine and MENACTRA. On an unknown date, the patient received BEXSERO .5 ml. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving BEXSERO, the patient experienced injection site pain, nausea and dizziness. On an unknown date, the outcome of the injection site pain, nausea and dizziness were unknown. It was unknown if the reporter considered the injection site pain, nausea and dizziness to be related to BEXSERO. Addition details were provided as follows: This case was not previously reported to anyone. The age at vaccination was not reported. The patient experienced nausea, dizziness, and left arm (injection site) pain after receiving BEXSERO vaccination. On the same day, the patient also received MENACTRA and Hepatitis A (unknown manufacturer) vaccination in right arm. The patient''s date of birth, initials, date of vaccination and adverse event onset date were unknown.

It was unknown if the reporter considered the injection site pain and injected limb mobility decreased to be related to BEXSERO. Additional details were provided as follows: The reporter stated that, 24 hours after administration of BEXSERO, the patient experienced severe pain at the injection site and the patient had trouble in lifting her arm where he got the injection.
