Write-up: Four days post vaccination, pt. broke out with whole body hives. Pt. was given an antihistamine per parent (M.D.) and some relief resulted, however, within seven days post vaccination, hives returned. Pt. hx includes allergies to cats, dogs, pollens. Write-up: This case was reported by a physician via a sales representative and described the occurrence of passing out in a female subject of unspecified age who was vaccinated with CERVARIX (GlaxoSmithKline). On an unspecified date in 2011 (believed to be in the last couple of weeks) the subject received unspecified dose of CERVARIX. Within 10 minutes of receiving the CERVARIX vaccination, the subject indicated that she did not feel well and then passed out, slumped to the floor and hit her head. The subject was kept in the office and observed for almost an hour because she kept saying she did not feel well. The overall outcome was not known. No additional details were reported.
